  • Christmas Baking with a Continental Flavour (Adult's Course)
    A day of Christmas baking with Carolyn Royle, focusing on some traditional German recipes. Carolyn spends a good deal of time in Germany researching recipes and the ingredients used within them. On this course she shares some of her favourite Christmas treats with you so that you can bake them for family and friends.

  • Baking for Christmas (Children's course)
    A chance for children to learn how to bake some Christmas classics. During the day they will make a small Christmas cake and then ice and decorate it. They will also look at how you can make gifts out of food for Chrismas and make a sweet treat of their own. We will make edible decorations to hang on the tree and make the Christmas classic - mince pies, but with a little flavour twist. We will show how to present the lovely things made so that they can be given as Christmas presents to friends and family.

  • Stollen & Gluhwein (1/2 day adults course)
    Get into the Christmas spirit with this relaxing half day course with a German theme. Each person will make their own Stollen for Christmas and enjoy a warming glass or two of Gluhwein which will be prepared during the morning. In addition to this, we will prepare a German Christmas biscuit dough from which you will be able to create you own edible decorations for your home.

  • Introduction To Bread Baking - (Adults Course)
    This is a full day course, ideal for those who wish to learn the basics of bread making or maybe rectify problems when making bread at home. All the bread is made by hand and you will be able to try out a selection of recipes for yourself under the expert guidance of our resident cook Carolyn Royle, a bread making enthusiast!

  • Continental Bread Making -  (Adults Course)
    Join us for a day of bread making with a continental flavour. With Carolyn Royle our resident bread specialist, you will make and bake Lebanese Flat Bread, Focaccia, Bread Sticks, German Breads to take home and share with friends and family.
