Terms and Conditions of Sale
Nothing contained within these terms and conditions affect your statutory right as a consumer.

Payment and Pricing of Goods and Services:
Payment for goods and deposits for 'Little Chick's' baking parties can be made by Personal cheque, postal order or Visa, Delta, Mastercard, and Switch cards. All card transactions are carried out on our behalf via Roman Cart. When you select the option to pay by card, you will be re-directed to Roman Cart's secure website before you enter any card details. We treat security with the utmost of importance.

Customer Service:
If you have any questions regarding our products, or would like to make a booking for a 'Little Chick's' Baking Party, you can contact the Speckled Hen Country Bakery during normal working hours (9.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday). Please see our contact us page for more information.

Cancelling and Returning an Order:
You have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery (United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations).
If the item to be returned is non-perishable, Speckled Hen Country Bakery should be informed, so that you can be advised on how to return the goods. All goods must be returned within a reasonable period of cancellation.

Exceptions:
Perishable food and goods must be cancelled before they have been dispatched. This includes hampers which have a food content.

Under UK and EU law you have a right to change your mind about a purchase made over the Internet in accordance with the above conditions. You will be required to pay the costs of returning an item to Speckled Hen Country Bakery, unless the goods are faulty. Proof of posting of your items should be retained.

If you wish to cancel an order, please notify us as soon as possible as we can only cancel an order providing it has not been dispatched by us.

Cancelling a booking for a 'Little Chick's' Baking Party:
No booking is confirmed until a 'Little Chick's' Baking Party Booking Form has been filled in and returned to The Speckled Hen Country Bakery. On receipt of the booking form, a letter will be sent confirming the date and time on the booking form. When making a booking for a 'Little Chick's' Baking Party, a deposit will be required to secure the booking date and time. Should a party be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the party, an alternative date will be offered. Deposits on cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the party, will not be refunded due to costs incurred in the purchase and preparation of food.

Cancelling a 'Little Chick's' Party Food Order:
No booking for 'Little Chick's' Party Food is confirmed until it has been discussed with the bakery and a Booking Form filled in and returned to The Speckled Hen Country Bakery. A deposit may be required. Final numbers for the party food will be required 48 hours prior to delivery/collection. Deposits on party food orders cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the party, will not be refunded due to costs incurred in the purchase and preparation of food.

Stock:
Until payment is made in full by the customer, all goods remain the property of The Speckled Hen Country Bakery.

Please note that all products and descriptions are accurate at the time of publishing, however there may be the very rare occasions where items are out of stock. Where an item is out of stock, the customer will be informed and asked if a replacement item is required.

If a product carries an age warning, regarding suitability for children under 36 months, it is the recipient's responsibility to adhere to these warnings.

Complaints:
We aim to offer our customers the best possible service. If you feel that items in your order are unsatisfactory, that we have made a mistake or have any other complaint, please feel free to contact us. We will respond to all complaints as quickly as possible. Any customer details passed to us are kept confidential and you will be kept informed of the complaint process.
