This course is ideal for those who wish to learn the basics of bread making and also try out a few more unusual recipies with our resident cook Carolyn Royle, a bread making enthusiast! Learn a new skill while having an enjoyable a day out - bread making is a great reliever of stress. All ingredients are provided and everything you make is yours to take home.

Farm To Fork Day
Age: 7 Upwards
Wednesday 3rd April 2013, 9.30 a.m. - 3.00 p.m.
Cheshire is the heartland of English dairy farming. It’s been the most important area for milk, cheese and cream production for centuries – so where better to learn about cooking with dairy products than a modern Cheshire dairy farm!
You’ll see the farm in action (so bring your wellies!), visit the cows and hens of course and learn the basic techniques of cooking with dairy and egg products. Then its back to the kitchen to have a go at some of the following:
- Making your own cream & butter
- Soda Bread – a traditional farmhouse staple
- Yogurt & Yogurt Cake
- Meringues with cream
Pack lunch and apron required, all other ingredients provided and don't forget the wellies!
